1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

Snipped AI is an AI-powered screenshot answering tool. It allows you to capture a screenshot of a question on your screen and receive an AI-generated answer in seconds. The Service consists of a desktop application and an associated web-based dashboard for account management, billing, and usage tracking.

3. Account Terms

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
• Each account is for a single individual. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

• The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The pricing and features of each tier are described on our Pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly cycle. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not be charged again but will not receive a refund for the remaining days.
• We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we change the price of your plan, we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect.

5. Usage Limits

Each subscription tier has a daily snip limit. Your daily limit resets each calendar day. We reserve the right to enforce fair use policies to prevent abuse of the Service. If we determine that your usage is excessive or designed to circumvent limits, we may restrict or suspend your access.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service or any part thereof.
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service or extract data from it.
• Share your account credentials with any other person or allow multiple individuals to use a single account.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security, rate-limiting, or access-control features of the Service.
• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service — including the software, design, branding, and content — are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of any screenshots you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process your screenshots solely for the purpose of delivering AI-generated answers. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

8. Disclaimer

The AI-generated answers provided by the Service are for informational purposes only. Answers are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or up-to-date. You should not rely on the Service as a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or other specialist advice.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behaviour, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will endeavour to provide notice where practicable, but we are not obligated to do so.

You may close your account at any time through your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
